Tools and materials required can include: a shovel (to bury/trench cable,) conduit, polypropylene rope, cinder blocks (when anchoring), boat (when anchoring,) rebar or duckbill anchors (when mooring), and a medium Phillips head screwdriver. Complete installation instructions will be found within the Aqua Series owner’s manual which will be provided with the delivery of the product.

Anchor Installation: Mooring Installation:

Basic Installation Guidelines:

  • Unit Assembly: Unit arrives configured as the Aqua Gem pattern with minimal assembly required. Simply insert the motor cartridge into the float and attach with locking ring and attach debris screen, if Aqua Blast pattern is preferred make adjustments prior to placing in water a 10mm socket or wrench will be needed. Estimated time to assemble is 10-20 minutes. All hardware is provided, and a medium Phillips head screwdriver will be needed to fasten locking ring.
  • Mini Power Control Center (PCC) Installation: Although the PCC is rated for residential, it’s recommended to have a qualified electrician on-site to have it installed. (PCC is standard for all domestic/60Hz applications.)
  • Power Cable:  Power cable should be buried or trenched in conduit per local codes, and run at least 3ft or 1m out into the pond/basin.
  • Anchor/Mooring Unit in Water: Float unit into the water and either anchor or moor it in to place with stainless steel cables or polypropylene rope. For ponds that experience fluctuating water levels we recommend that you moor the unit into its location. Mooring the unit can often be done from the shoreline, while a boat is typically required when anchoring.
