Replacement Air Filters for Teich-Aire 1/4HP and 1/2hp Compressors. Keeping your air filter clean on your compressor will help prolong its life and make sure the compressor is pumping air to its full capacity. A clogged air filter can cause the compressor to have to work harder (run hotter) and could shorten the time before it needs to be rebuilt. Air filters should be checked once a month and if they are dirty they usually can be tapped out or cleaned with some compressed air. Kasco’s air filter assemblies have a metal intake tube in them. Make sure they are clear of dust and debris.
Note: Kasco Marine Changed the Air filter to a larger filter after 2020. Measure your current filter to make sure you order the correct one. The systems with the remote air filter set up use a larger filter. See pictures and examples below.
