This Zinc Anode is for motor shafts that are 1/2 inch thick only and protects the motor from electrolysis. If the Zinc anode is severally corroded or pitted its time to replace.
This fits all the Following Kasco Marine Fountains, Aerators, and Horizontal Circulators.
1/2HP 2400 models - 2400D, 2400VFX, 2400CF, 2400CUD
3/4HP 3400 Models - 3400D, 3400D, 3400VFX, 3400JF, 3400CF, 3400CUD
Post-2015 1HP Models - 1 HP 4400 Models - 4400D, 4400VFX, 4400JF, 4400CUD, 4400CID Note: if its pre-2015 check the shaft size and confirm. If its 5/8 inch, you need part # 840475
